The department of energy and climate change (DECC) is to hold two advanced workshops to help companies understand the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC).

DECC will host the two advanced level workshops as part of the current consultation process, which closes 4 June 2009.

The workshops will look at the technical detail behind the legislation and recent policy proposals included in the current consultation into the CRC.

The first workshop will be held in London on 8 May. The second in Manchester on 22 May.

The advanced workshops are aimed at companies with a good understanding of the CRC.

Companies looking to attend have until 5pm 18 April to contact DECC. Email crc2009consultation@decc.gsi.gov.uk with the heading workshop London/ Manchester, with your organisation’s name, sector, contact details, delegate's job title and the workshop they wish to attend.
