Danvac Ltd, formally known as Alan E Wheeler & Son Ltd -Hire Division, is an up and coming company offering its services to architectural glass and curtain walling applications.

Supplying the whole range of Woods and Pannkoke vacuum lifters, Danvac also manufactures vacuum lifters in the UK, providing bespoke units to suit the more unusual applications, like the one pictured.

In association with its parent company, Danvac designed and built this 750kg capacity battery powered lifter (pictured) with pads that ‘step' out 150mm from the lifter to negiotate the depth of the frame. The unit also boasts portrait to landscape slewing, either side of the vertical, and a lifting eye that sits back from the centre line of the glass preventing damage to any other part of the building.

Danvac also offers operator training, as well as on site or in house testing, inspection and servicing off all models of vacuum lifting equipment in compliance with LOLER.
