Cox Building Products Limited has taken the chair of the National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers (NARM) at an important time for the industry.

Focusing on quality, the association's mission is to ensure that the specifying and construction community value NARM membership as a benchmark when selecting a rooflight manufacturer.

David Tyson, the Managing Director of Cox Building Products, has now been appointed chairman of the association for 2005.

Mr Tyson said: ‘Impending legislation, in the shape of Part L, could have a profound effect on the provision of daylight in future buildings.

‘NARM is making an important contribution to the process, as well as to many other legislative issues facing the industry.’
