Corby blimey: The East Midlands Development Agency spent almost £28.5m on work to deliver sustainable communities last year. The developments it supported included the £4bn regeneration of Corby, which aims to double the town’s population to 100,000 within 20 years. The plans include a 60-minute rail service to London, sites for technology companies, 28,000 new homes, the refurbishment of old properties and a redevelopment of the town centre (pictured).
