Cooper Security has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, replacing the 1997 accreditation held previously.
This new standard is proof of the measures the company has taken to examine and improve its quality and customer service processes.

To achieve this accreditation, Cooper underwent a detailed BSI audit over an 18-month period, which looked at every aspect of its manufacturing, customer service and management processes, to ensure its products were closely aligned with customer requirements.

Mark Jones is the Quality Manager and his role has been extended to Customer Service Manager. Brenda Leader has been recruited as Quality Assurance Engineer.

The company plans to make a large investment in its manufacturing technology, and will shortly be implementing a new Customer Relationship Management system, which will improve information flow.
