G&T wins i360 role

Gardiner & Theobald is cost managing the tallest observation tower in the UK, the Brighton i360. The 600ft-high structure will be positioned at the beach end of the damaged Grade I listed West Pier.

CMPB in £30m scheme

The Harris Federation of South London Schools has appointed a consortium including CM Parker Browne for a £30m academies framework. The Howarth Litchfield Design Consortia comprises CMPB, Howarth Litchfield, Cundall and Anthony Walker and Partners.

Lambeth looks for QS

London borough of Lambeth is looking for a design team, including QS, for its Building Schools for the Future programme. The project will focus on intermediate works for between four and six schools.

College upgrade

A QS is sought for a project at St Helens College to redevelop three campuses. Plans include building a new 16,000 sq m education building for the college in the Northwest.

Gleeds wins place at uni

Gleeds has won a place on Bournemouth University’s five-year framework. Gleeds is currently involved in four projects for the client, ranging from £500,000 to £1.6m.

HQ job for Wakemans

Wakemans has been appointed QS, PM and planning supervisor on a £12m scheme for Instarmac Group. The project will create new 120,000 sq ft HQ and factory for the building materials firm in Staffordshire.

Leicster appoints QS

WT Partnership is the QS for a Leicester city centre regeneration scheme. The city council has asked the firm to reconstruct streets in the retail area at a cost of between £7.5m and £9m.
