12:00PM QSs and PMs needed for MoD Cyprus scheme, Bracknell’s school refurbishment and new St Andrews medical building

Client Ministry of Defence is looking for a QS firm to provide a full range of project management services in accordance with the MoD Defcon 2000 (2005) for the UK-Cyprus Akrotiri scheme.

The project involves the construction of a two-lane vehicle/personnel link from the cargo marshalling area to a new offshore berth complete with the necessary support infrastructure. The project management firm is expected to be present for the duration of all phases, estimated to be around three years.

Client Bracknell Forest Borough Council is seeking a project manager and adviser on architectural services for the rebuilding of Garth Hill College secondary school in Berkshire. The school with its specialist technology status has a current pupils capacity of 1,365 which is expected to rise to 1,547 by 2015. Completion on the ‘one school pathfinder project’ under the DfES Building Schools for the Future programme is expected to be in September 2009.

As part of a larger scheme that includes the refurbishment of Bracknell and Wokingham College, Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design has designed the masterplan, with Campbell Reith Hill advising on transport and civil engineering, and KSA on property market and viability matters.

Lastly, the University of St Andrews in North Haugh, Scotland is seeking a project management service for the construction of a new medical science building.
