Employees in the construction sector are turning to alcohol to relieve stress according to a recent government survey.
According to the Know Your Limits campaign, employees in the construction sector are consuming an average of 28 units of alcohol a week.
Around half of construction employees contacted said they have turned to alcohol to relieve stress after work and almost a third admitted to doing so at least once a week.
The NHS recommended limit for men is to not regularly drink more than 3-4 units a day, 2-3 for women.
Almost a quarter of workers also reported feeling pressurised to drink with their work colleagues.
