Sales
A balance of 8% of fabricators (the difference between 30% who sold more and 38% who sold less) saw sales drop in July 2005 compared with the same period in 2004 in the Monthly Index sponsored by Eurocell Profiles Ltd. However, a net 10% of conservatory fabricators reported an increase in sales in July 2005 compared with June 2005. Fabricators across the country saw sales rise over the period. Mid-sized firms did best.
Forecasts:
A balance of 10% of fabricators expect to sell more conservatories in August 2005 compared with July 2005. Large companies and firms in the Midlands are most positive.
A net 6% of conservatory fabricators also forecast better sales in August 2005 compared with the same period last year. Expectations are strongest among large and mid-sized companies (40% and 20% respectively).
