The Security Business Award at the inaugural ConflictPro Conference – supported by Skills for Security and Security Management Today – has been won by Ian Thomas, the managing director of Enterprise Security and Safety Training.

Ian triumphed for what VSG managing director Keith Francis dubbed “a fantastic contribution” to the management – and subsequent reduction – of workplace violence on contracts administered by the Northampton-based guarding specialist.

The ConflictPro Conference has initiated a Forum for like-minded professionals to engage with experts and colleagues in developing a multi-agency approach to the reduction of violence in the workplace. This year’s Conference was opened by Lord Stevens of Kirkwhelpington.
