Radway Plastics, Bedford Trade Frames, Murnane & O’Shea have chosen to install the Kombimatec HDX cruciform welder.
It cuts profiles once, joining the four pieces simultaneously to produce the cross and cleaning in one final operation.
Unlike the traditional method of creating a cruciform joint there is no longer a need to create a V-notch. This machine should save production time as well as saving the time it takes to move between the various machines to carry out these operations.
The welders have been manufactured in the Luton Kombimatec factory since 1984.
