Complacency is creeping in again

SIR – Complacency towards daily business risk (‘Dilute to waste’, SMT, April 2004, pp16-18) is endangering UK workers and their employees. We’ve conducted a survey of office-based professionals in the UK which reveals that only 23% of those questioned would actually leave their desk in response to an emergency alarm.
