VISONIC HAS OPENED A NEW multi-million pound factory in Kiryat Gat, Southern Israel.
The company, which is behind wireless response systems such as PowerCode and PowerMax, says the manufacturing plant will enable it to meet growing demand for its products worldwide.

It will house all the Visonic production departments including electronics, plastics and warehousing. Previ-ously the departments were in different sites in Tel Aviv and Kiryat Gat.

  • Vicon has expanded its UK activities with the opening of an office near Warrington. It will have training and product demonstration facilities as well as providing a base for Vicon's northern-based personnel. Vicon managing director Chris Wall said: "We have also strengthened our northern sales and technical support teams."

  • Italian CCTV manufacturer Videotec has moved to a new headquarters – "one of the largest CCTV plants in Europe". The warehouse/offices will guarantee large availability off the shelves.

  • Pelco is substantially expanding its world headquarters in Clovis, California, with another new building.
