We need a predictable sovereign power supply
We needed an urgent plan on energy two years ago (Ministers must stop ‘crossing fingers’ on nuclear, 4 March, www.building.co.uk).
Come on, we need a predictable sovereign power supply. While renewables and gas can make up some of the forthcoming shortfall, nuclear, as expensive as it to build, is still the only real option. How much longer are the same conversations and arguments going to go on for? The government needs to act, quickly and decisively.
