I attended an interview yesterday to train as a domestic energy assessor (DEA), which I thought was new career with great potential

I was wary after the interviewer asked nothing about my skills and experiences or even why I was interested in becoming a DEA. I received a call today from the interviewer who made me feel like I was an idiot and spoke very negatively, but then offered me a place on the training course. I asked him if he could guarantee any work after training, but he then became very aggressive and didn’t answer my questions.

I’m glad I did my research before handing over £4,500. My concern is that the potential DEAs that I spoke to at the interview yesterday were vulnerable and mostly unemployed, but like me thought this would be a great career change. I am extremely upset and disappointed with this company and its tactics and wonder how and why it is getting away with it!
