I sympathise with Mr Danieli over his inability to collect monies due to him from unscrupulous clients.
Although I am not a lawyer, I would have thought there must be some mechanism through which Mr Danieli could prompt his client to pay up, or do something other than ignore him. If, as is suggested in the case of at least one of the clients, there is an admission of liability for the debt due to him, could Mr Danieli not issue a “statutory demand” requiring payment within 21 days, after which point, if the client still had not paid, Mr Danieli could petition for the bankruptcy of that person or persons?
