What’s your favourite means of communication?
I try to talk to people, but email is addictive, especially as ours files itself! I still speak to my friends and colleagues and recommend it highly.
Where shall we play?
I spend my working life glued to technology … so “me time” is a spin in my 1963 E-type or “pass me a book”.
What do you listen to?
Melvyn Bragg’s “In Our Time” podcast is a treat each week …
What’s in your digital holster?
Much of my time is spent working from Hoare Lea’s office in Abu Dhabi so it's BlackBerry or VPN via 3G and WiFi. “Offline” means “in-flight” and my iPod.
What was the last book you bought?
Independent People by Halldór Laxness – my daughter has an Icelandic fetish and recommended it.
Postscript
Nigel Cooper is a partner in Hoare Lea, with responsibility for International Working and IT.
