Schüco has launched a lift-sliding action patio door

Schüco has launched a lift-sliding action patio door with a ProSol TF thin-film photovoltaic option. The company says the ASS70.HI will deliver a mixture of thermal insulation and PV energy and provide solar shading or screening simultaneously.

The door is available in single, double and triple track configurations to allow a different number of doors to slide open. The 70mm-deep doors run on stainless steel tracks. The door has a threshold height of 48mm and leaf weights up to 300kg and meets door security regulations up to Class 2 EN V 1627.

The company says the door has U-values from 1.6W/m2K with double-glazing, down to 1.3W/m2K with triple-glazing.
