The government should publish its post-occupancy schools research - it doesn’t matter when it was commissioned

It does seem very obtuse for the EFA not to publish the research (“Government will not publish ‘vital’ school building research” 19 April, building.co.uk). If it is not relevant
to future schools then it wouldn’t matter anyway. However the fact that the work was commissioned under the BSF programme does not mean that the approach to design and construction would not be the same if the work was procured under, for argument’s sake, a “son-of-PFI” programme.

How can more knowledge be a bad thing?
