John Spanswick talks good sense (10 February).
The 2012 Olympics is a golden opportunity for the government as the main client and the industry as a whole to promote best practices. The Games can and should be used as a catalyst for progress and change. The early involvement of all parties in the supply chain is paramount. There should also be project bank accounts to ensure smooth supplier cash flow. The use of a single project bank account on each project would help to ensure timely payments to all parties in the supply chain.
