On 7 and 8 September, CIBSE took part in the forward-thinking Energy 2005 exhibition at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, taking its place as one of the many organisations and companies concerned with energy efficiency.

As well as exhibiting on both days of the exhibition, CIBSE ran a full and well-attended day of seminars on 8 September, with speakers representing CIBSE, the Society of Public Health Engineers and the Society of Facade Engineering.

The presentations tackled the topics of energy assessment and reporting, how to fulfil energy management with changing regulations, the water efficiency hierarchy and recycled water systems, and the energy and environmental implications of glazed facades. If you would like to get a copy of any of the presentations given on the day, please contact Samantha Caplan at scaplan@cibse.org.
