Ten women from Christie Intruder Alarms and sister company Southern Monitoring Service joined 10,000 others in the 5km Race for Life on Southampton Common.

Running in memory of a well-liked colleague who had died from cancer just the week before, they raised £1,800 for Cancer Research UK.

Many participants were in fancy dress – the Christie team were all dressed as burglars, complete with black and white stripy tops and black masks.
