Charlie Benson to head Whitbybird international division

Simons Developments has appointed Graham Payne senior development surveyor. He joins from Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was a director in the south region property finance team.

Contractors

The North-east division of Balfour Beatty Management has appointed Dave Matthews commercial manager, John Lane senior scheduler and Keith Barnard planning consultant. Clare Smart joins oversee marketing.

Consultants

WSP Environmental has appointed Beverley Parrish associate director. She previously worked in commercial management in the food and drink sector.

Davis Langdon’s Peterborough office has appointed Mandy Ashpool business development manager. Byron Hanslo has joined the project management team. Three trainee QSs have also joined, they are John-Paul Morza, Jason Wilson and Ryan Dodd.

White Young Green has appointed Mark Thomas head of sport. Thomas joins from S&P Architects, where he was involved in the scheme for Zaha Hadid’s aquatic centre for the London Olympics .

Whitbybird has promoted Charlie Bensen to head its international division. Previously a director in London, he recently transferred to Dubai to head the firm's Middle East and Asian expansion.
