John Saunders OBE – the forrmer chief executive of the SIA – has been given a special Chairman’s Award by Adam Wiseberg (current chairman of the British Security Industry Association) for his “outstanding contribution to the private security industry”.

“As a former businessman, John set out to understand the industry, looking at both its problems and its opportunities,” commented BSIA chief executive David Dickinson. “He shaped and then shared his agenda. He consulted widely. He recognised the contribution the BSIA could make. It was a working relationship that stood the test of time.”
