Youth homelessness charity Centrepoint launched a £30,000 new image on Tuesday.
The move is the latest in a swathe of rebranding exercises in the sector during the past 18 months, the National Housing Federation, Quaker Housing Trust, Anglia Housing Group and charity Crisis among them.

Centrepoint's chief executive Anthony Lawton said: "The old strapline, 'housing young people at risk', no longer reflected what we did. Providing a safe place to stay is still vital, but is often only the first step. Our aim is to build on this by assessing needs and offering each a tailor-made support package."

The charity's new support model, to be rolled out in the spring, will see it giving advice on self-esteem, motivation, money, housing, health and education. Service delivery staff will be retrained.

The charity said its new logo (above), designed by branding consultant Corporate Edge, reflected the idea of helping young people through a moment of change in their lives: 9am was seen as a watershed time of day when school or work began and that 8:59 therefore represented the moment where Centrepoint stepped in.
