British Gypsum has launched a ceiling lining board that combines thermal insulation with 30-minute fire resistance.

The lining board, which was developed in conjunction with a major housebuilder, is an extension of the Gyproc ThermaLine SUPER range, which satisfies fire performance requirements for ceiling membranes in room in the roof construction. It can be used with Isover glass wool insulation to achieve U values down to 0.19W/m2K.
