Bradling Security, based in Braintree, has secured a contract to supply, install and maintain a security system at Borley Church, said to be the most haunted house in England.
The Borley Rectory, built by the Reverend Henry Bull in 1863, is claimed to be on a site where Benedictine Monks built a monastery in 1362. Legend tells of a monk eloping with a nun from a nearby nunnery that was connected by tunnels. On being caught, the monk was hanged and the nun was bricked up alive in the nunnery.

The digital CCTV recording equipment installed at the site includes a high speed day/night dome camera with pan, tilt and zoom and the ability to move 360 degrees. 18 zoom and 4 digital cameras are also linked, and networked images can be viewed on a PC.
