Toshiba Air Conditioning has added a new large ceiling-mounted cassette indoor unit to its Digital Inverter and Super Digital Inverter single and twin split system ranges.

The hi-tech four-way blow unit fits standard 600 mm x 600 mm large grids in suspended ceilings. At only 268 mm deep, the unit is suitable for ceilings with restricted void space.

Toshiba ceiling cassettes are said to be ideally suited to commercial applications when applied with any of Toshiba’s split system technology ranges, and are mostly rated as ‘A’ for energy efficiency.

The units employ the latest fan technology and the use of the Coanda effect ensures that there is sound airflow and distribution, cold draught prevention and the avoidance of streaked ceilings.
