New recruit for firm’s strategic property and workplace projects team
Simon Raper has joined Capita Symonds’ strategic property and workplace projects team as associate director.
He joins the company from Australian architectural firm S2F Pty where he was a project director and head of office in Sydney.
The strategic property and workplace projects team is part of the consulting team in the company’s Real Estate Division. Its primary role is to develop and implement innovative workplace environments for clients including the BBC, Network Rail and Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
Raper has almost 24 years experience across the fields of architecture, interior architecture and workplace design, developing a creative and fluid approach to the delivery of strategic workplace solutions, change management and business change consultancy services.
He has worked on numerous projects across the EMEA, US, China and Australia, including directing a $2bn project for the Australian Department of Defence that delivered 120 new buildings and facilities across two sites in New South Wales for the training and development of the Infantry and Special Forces.
He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers.
