With reference to Richard’s Letter to the Editor in the same edition (‘Complete trust will take time’, pp17-18), and his recommendation that I should apply for the post of Police Commissioner in the Metropolis, I haven’t been able to find this place – and assume it must be in Lincolnshire. In any event, I’m far too experienced in security and intelligence issues to join the police!
If Richard wishes to share his views of security management with us all here on Planet Earth, then maybe he could discuss them with the civil servants of the NHS Counter Fraud and Security Management Service, who themselves seem to be experiencing some difficulty when it comes to grasping the fundamentals of protective security in a corporate setting.
