Cable management

D-Line pvc trunking is designed to conceal and protect surface cabling and pipework.

A single piece of semi-circular trunking with an elastomer hinged lid at one side and a clip-in fastening at the other, it can be fixed onto walls or ceilings. Quadrant profiles are included in the range, and accessories remove the need to mitre corners.

Newlec has added a range of steel conduit and malleable iron conduit boxes to its portfolio.

The hot-dipped galvanised, heavy gauge steel conduit is offered in 20 and 25 mm external diameters in 3·75 m lengths. Conduit boxes are available in 20 and 25 mm and have a tapped hole ready for an earthing screw.

The stud pack

Kem Edwards has launched a strut and studding package to aid first-fix installations.

Pre-cut lengths and all fixings are delivered to site ready for installation off-the-shelf for next day delivery. The 2.5 mm thick pre-galvanised struts are available ex-stock in over 15 channel lengths with varying slot profile, together with 30 lengths of pre-cut M10 studding. Non-standard sizes and profiles are available.

Flexible friend

The small-bore stainless steel flexible conduit from Kopex is offered in 3, 5 and 8 mm diameters. The 8 mm size is on a 10 m roll; the other sizes come on 20 m rolls as standard.

It is manufactrured from helically wound stainless steel strip and is suited to wet or corrosive environments.

Gripping stuff

Panduit has introduced Super-Grip cable ties.

The cable ties are flexible and can be installed tight enough to resist lateral movement. They can endure abusive installation practices. Four sizes are offered and three RoHS compliant materials. Tie mounts are also offered.
