Bystronic Glass will be demonstrating its advanced equipment for the glass market at this month’s Vitrum exhibition.

The wide variety of new products and system solutions on show will include the spacerbender, the first ‘arris, and the smart’ lamicut.

Spacerbender

The spacerbender (pictured right) has been developed to offer manufacturers the best in terms of flexibility, quality and cost effective production. It is suitable for aluminium, steel, ‘warm edge’ plastic composite and stainless steel profiles.

This flexible single tool can be used for all spacer widths, including angles and radius bends. Options available to manufacturers include: automatic joining of the spacer bars, continuous spacer bar feed with 8 position magazine (with residual recovery of unused lengths of bar), integrated assembly tool for finishing the last joint, operation control by touch screen access to the selection of shapes from the extensive library. An ink-jet printing unit can also be included and connected to the operating software to print data dedicated to individual frames.

First’arris

The compact modular design of the vertical arrissing machine first'arris, enables wide applications in tempered glass, laminated glass, and insulating glass manufacturing. It can be delivered as a stand-alone solution or as an integrated component in an insulating glass production line.

Smart’lamicut

The smart’lamicut provides effective and precise cutting and separating of laminated glass. Its compact, space-saving design offers a fully automated production flow process in X, Y and Z with options for edge-deleting and shape-cutting for float and low-E glass

Bystronic Glass says all its systems guarantee reliable, cost-effective production methods that will improve standards and yield increased profit margins.
