Donkeys Dixie and Oswald from the Ramshaw Rescue Centre were the centrepiece of a nativity procession through Durham on 10 December. Children including Christian Hearne, as Joseph, enjoyed attractions such as Santa’s Grotto and carol singing led by a choir and a Salvation Army band. The event was jointly arranged by residents and community officers Nigel Dowd and Graeme Richardson from Three Rivers Housing Group.
