Wates uses materials from demolished buildings to construct car park and on-site roads
Wates Construction demolished the existing farm buildings and a swimming pool as part of a scheme to rebuild Rochester Temporary Custodial facility, a young offenders prison for 300 people.
The materials were crushed and then reused for the construction of the car park and road bases on the site. All the materials from the demolition were reused on site.
