Foster + Partners-designed hotel in Covent Garden will open in time for the Olympics

Fit-out firm Mivan has won a £3.5m contract for a Foster + Partners-designed luxury hotel near Covent Garden. The ME London hotel project, for client Melia Hotels International, includes the fit out of the hotel public areas including the restaurant, reception and lobby areas and 10th floor bar. Work is under way and Mivan will complete its works by the spring of 2012, opening in time for the Olympics. The project team also includes project manager Gleeds.
