It’s official: Building Services Journal is the best monthly business magazine. Star status was confirmed at the magazine industry’s Oscars – the Periodical Publishers Association Awards – where BSj was named Monthly Business Magazine of the Year.

The judges said BSj “showed clear editorial leadership”, “played a key role in its business environment”, and was “responding to reader demand”. In terms of brand development, the judges said “it’s BSj all the way”. Sanjeev Khaira, BSj’s publisher, also collected the Publisher of the Year honour for his work with sister publication Property Week. The awards were presented by television impressionist Jon Culshaw.
