I was thrilled to receive this month's CM. What's going on? The whole tenor seems to have shifted. Stuff that would hiterto have fast fallen upon the cutting room floor, not only in print, but in your editorial too. Great! Thank you.

I used to find some of the coverage backward-looking, and backside-covering! Sometimes cynical, always macho, and usually angry and threatened. And understandably so. We take a lot of stick. We are the scapegoat, but we are one of the UK's only remaining industries.

We are also part of a shrinking number of UK people who make a physical and lasting product: shelter and spaces to be inspired by.
