What a brilliant and refreshing article! He says what we are all feeling and saying ... How do I know what grade of burglar is going to attack my customers and what tools he will have?

How stupid! Grades should be decided on the stock type and value and the structure of the premises. They have got this one badly wrong and it’s about time someone admitted it and we had it altered.

I have been installing alarms (self employed) for 28 years now and have never had anyone professionally dismantle a system.

They usually use a crowbar, a concrete block or 2lb hammer and once a cordless jigsaw.

Someone please tell 'the suits'.

Carl, Well done for your opinion in this month’s mag.Too many chiefs from that very over populated planet "noncommonsense” running before they can walk. A good article, it just reaches their domain. Good luck.
