Firms wins best all round firm at inaugural ceremony, highlighting excellence in the sector
Boxall Sayer won a key prize at the inaugural QS Awards, which were held at Vinopolis in central London last Friday.
The firm won the best all round QS gong at the lunchtime ceremony, beating off a shortlist that included Turner & Townsend, Gardiner & Theobald and Faithful & Gould.
The firm’s chairman Clive Sayer accepted the award, which was given for both the growth experienced by the firm as well as the high quality of projects it has worked on.
Other winners included well-known industry figure David Bucknall, who was voted QS Champion of the Year for his sterling work in promoting the profession during his long career. Chim Lungu, a 26-year-old staff member at Turner & Townsend who came to the UK from Malawi aged 18, was named QS Young Achiever of the Year.
