As part of a £10 million refurbishment project, developer Oakmoor-Deeley and business partner CVOne enlisted the help of Bosch Security Systems to secure Belgrade Plaza’s newly-renovated car park using various technologies germane to its Autodome surveillance cameras.

Belgrade Plaza is said to be a mixed-use development scheme that’s “set to change the face” of Coventry’s city centre. The end result will see a combination of hotels, bars, restaurants, a casino, offices and a residential complex opening for business.

Security for the car park comprises 30 Bosch external day/night EnviroDomes and six internal FlexiDomes. The day/night cameras switch from colour to monochrome when light levels decrease to offer extra sensitivity.

All images from the car park’s cameras are monitored locally by on-site security. However, all images are also viewed, controlled and managed at CV One’s existing central Control Room which is located in New Union Street.

Recordings are captured by three Bosch Divar DVRs. The Divar range combines a DVR system with multiplexer and switcher in a single, low profile unit capable of simultaneous full colour recording and playback.
