Following its recent acquisition of Philips CSI, the strengthened Bosch Security Systems business is getting set to introduce many additions to its growing range of fire and intrusion detection products and is adding new CCTV, PA and paging products to its portfolio.
The combined business operation, which relocated to a new home in the existing Bosch facility in Denham, is also continuing to sell and support all former Philips CSI products under the globally known Bosch brand name, alongside its well-known Detection Systems branded products from its takeover of US-based Detection Systems Inc in 2002.

The company can now provide complete solutions covering fire and intruder detection, CCTV systems from simple plug-and-play observation systems to fully integrated CCTV surveillance, advanced digital congress systems, public address, emergency evacuation systems and on-site paging.

UK MD Joe McCann, who was previously general manager of Bosch Detection Systems in Slough, says Bosch now ranks in the top five suppliers of security systems worldwide.

By taking over the entire operations of Philips CSI worldwide, Bosch Security Systems has also expanded its global presence to over 38 countries in five continents.

Bosch Security Systems is planning to show its new fire and intrusion detection products as well as its latest CCTV, paging and PA systems at IFSEC in May. A full line up of its new products will be included in our IFSEC show preview in next month's issue.
