Southampton - based engineering company, Blue Diamond has expanded its range of specialist design and manufacturing services to include all types of architectural door furniture including bespoke hinges and door handles.

Typical applications include kitchen doors, shower doors, industrial cabinets, inspection hatches etc. for domestic, commercial and industrial use.

The service includes design, preparation of engineering drawings, material specifications, prototypes and manufacture of bulk supplies.

In addition to the full design and engineeering service; Blue Diamond can also include inspection, testing, stockholding and sourcing from low cost manufacturers outside the UK.

Commenting on the new capability, Mike Doel Sales Director said, ‘We are already supplying a wide range of components such as latches and bearings, to manufacturers in the kitchen, bathroom and shower industries. It is therefore a natural progression to extend our services to include this broader range'.
