ABC Audit attendance figureS have been confirmed for IFSEC, Security Solutions and Network Advantage 2005 – with a record turnout of 31,774 at Birmingham’s NEC for what was the 33rd Edition of the world’s leading security event organised by CMP Information – publisher of Security Management Today (SMT).

Visitor numbers were up 26% on 2004, with the show attracting specific interest from security professionals and end users, as well as new visitor groups (including a wealth of IT practitioners and systems integrators).

“In 2005, we witnessed the highest rise in visitor attendance in the history of the IFSEC event,” stated Simon Parker, group director of the Fire, Safety and Security Portfolio at CMP Information. “Such an impressive result cements the show’s dominant position as the definitive event for the industry.”

IFSEC, Security Solutions and Network Advantage 2006 runs from 8-11 May at the NEC, Birmingham. This year, there will be a new feature in the shape of a dedicated Security Guarding Pavilion and a series of seminars looking at professionalism in the discipline of security.
