BA is reviewing the planned move of its long-haul flights from Heathrow Terminal 4 to T5 at the end of April after the baggage handling chaos that accompanied the £4.3bn T5’s opening on 27 March.

The world’s largest baggage handling system failed to live up to its billing as passengers suffered up to 28,000 items of lost luggage and dozens of cancelled flights. At least the building’s state-of-the-art services seemed to be working.
