Emirates stadium QS and PM loses 3-1 in one of the last matches to be held at Highbury
AYH got into the World Cup spirit by taking part in a charity tournament with other members of the project team on Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium. Four firms - AYH, contractor Sir Rober McAlpine, engineer Buro Happold and architect HOK - played against a team of celebrities and ex-Arsenal players at Arsenal's old stadium Highbury.
AYH were at the wrong end of a 3-1 defeat, falling to goals from ex-Arsenal midfielder Tony Murtaugh and actor Ralf Little. HOK was the only firm to beat the celebrities thanks to a 20-yard shot by star player Lucy Craig. The event, held last Friday, raised £8,000 for the Arsenal Charitable Trust to help local community schemes.
