3:35PM Cost consultant enters US market with strategic purchase of PinnacleOne

Programme, project and cost management firm AYH has extended its global reach through the acquisition of US project and construction management firm PinnacleOn.

The deal done through parent company ARCADIS will bring 230 new skilled workers to AYH’s global team as well an estimated gross revenue of $35m (£18m) for 2006.

Principal of ARCADIS Worldwide Project Consulting Nigel Maidment, said: “PinnacleOne brings us further along our path of meeting a growing need among our clients for seamless global project delivery."

PinnacleOne operates nationally with a focus in the southwestern and northeastern US regions. The Phoenix, Arizona based firm will now complete the ARCADIS Worldwide Project Consulting network led by AYH which already covers six continents.

CEO for ARCADIS’ US operations Steve Blake, said: “This acquisition further strengthens our position in the US market and increases our presence to about 3,500 people. PinnacleOne meets our goal to expand high added value services and provides a substantial addition to our existing PM/CM capabilities, especially in the western US.”
