JTL has launched its new style national Best Apprentice Awards. The awards have been redesigned to incorporate the four key elements of the training framework – practical, theory, key skills and industry test scores.

Ten apprentices in each of JTL’s regions will compete to find out who will be named their region’s best. The winning apprentice from each region will then go forward to the national ceremony to be held at the Tower of London on 27 June 2007, where one will be named ‘best of the best’ in the apprentice world.

Commenting on the awards, Denis Hird, chief executive of JTL says: “The aim of incorporating the four elements of the framework into our redesigned awards is to deliver fully qualified and rounded apprentices to NVQ 3 - the basic requirement for industry.”
