Award-winning crime fighters provide further boost to Liverpool
The Liverpool Chamber's Crime Alert Programme has been recognised by the Government for its success in combating business crime in the city. Run by Tony Jopson of the Business Crime Direct Team, Liverpool Crime Alert was established in 2002 and is credited with helping city stores achieve some of the lowest stock loss figures in the country. The programme includes the sharing of security information among members (including photographs of repeat offenders) and a shop radio link that many businesses find invaluable.
