I was interested to read about the new asbestos register (12 September, pages 7 and 26).
But what happens with farm buildings, most of which are clad with asbestos roofs and many of which are close to housing estates? Clearly, it is time that the government picked up the bill for disposal of all asbestos-related products, as there is little point in removing just part of the risk.
