David Freestone, Initial Fire and Security - Overall winner
David began work with Initial in September 2002, and his considerable aptitude for his work was evident from the start. Three years on, other engineers choose expressly to work with him due to his reliability and high standard of work. Professionally, David is mature beyond his years. His commitment is shown through his willingness to mentor less able and younger apprentices.
Michael Considine, ADT Fire and Security - National winner
Michael started work with ADT in September 2003, having initially enrolled in night school, and proved his worth immediately. Now some of his other engineers are starting to use Michael as a benchmark for other apprentices to work to. He always works to high standards and is constantly seeking ways to improve.
Chris Wilcock, Initial Fire and Security - National winner
Joining Initial in September 2002, Chris has steadily matured through the three years of his apprenticeship. He has proved himself to be professional and helpful with excellent customer service skills. Chris' initiative means that he is more than willing to take on projects that would normally go to a fully qualified engineer.
